Launched during the first COVID shutdown in May 2020, The May Flower Initiative aims to bring hope to the community through art. In its second year, in 2021, the May Flower Initiative will bloom downtown. Downtown SLO was one of ten communities nationwide to receive a grant from Main Street America through the Main Street Resiliency Grant Program, made possible by the Grills Fund for Main Street Revitalization.
